About Us

Neddys is a "virtual” tack store specializing in our own brand of top quality, European-style riding breeches.

Founded in 2002 by Rosalind Behenna, the company owes its name to a childhood term for the horses she used to ride in her native Yorkshire, and its logo to the striking prehistoric “white horse” designs famous across Europe and South America.  Rosalind now rides at Zephyr Farms in Northern Nevada, where she and her Selle Francais "Ellobea" specialize in Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation, working with trainer Laurie Alden.

Operated out of Minden, Nevada, Neddys’ company mission is simple:

Quality: All of the Neddys woven breech range are manufactured to our own design specification, and are available in both traditional competition colors as well as the brighter, eye-catching designs popular for schooling in the US and Europe.  All Neddys breeches are equally ideally suited for dressage, hunter jumper, equitation and show jumping, and come in a full range of sizes, including our “relaxed fit” marque that caters for riders with narrower waists and wider hips.  We are also able to accept requests for “custom fit” breeches which we order individually from the manufacturers for that tailored finish.

Value for Money: We are confident that our Neddys breeches are the most competitively priced quality breeches available.  We are able to achieve this by running efficient operational offices in the US and UK, and by working directly with our selected manufacturers in Europe and Asia: although originally from the UK, Rosalind is able to bring valuable experience obtained while living and working in the Netherlands, China, Hong Kong, and the USA over the last ten years.
