Andrew Jayne

Competing in Argentina at the 2009 Modern Pentathlon Pan American Championships in December was the highlight of Andrew's year, the horses and venues were spectacular. Again he qualified for both UIPM 2010 Youth and Junior World Championships and finished in the official USA Pentathlon 2010 National standings ranked 1st in Youth A and 3rd in Juniors.

 As a member of Red Rock Hounds Pony Club, Andrew also qualified to compete on the International Tetrathlon Exchange Team and USPS Championships in Woodside, CA August 8-10 2010. Tetrathlon consists of running, swimming, riding and shooting. Andrew's team mates will be from Canada, Ireland, England and Australia - for 11 days, they will train, compete and tour the Western US.

This year, Andrew is a full time intern with renowned Judge/Rider/Trainer Julie Winkel and Grand Prix Rider/Trainer Kevin Winkel at Maplewood Stables in Reno, NV. Andrew trains and rides several young horses daily, working in all aspects of show jumping, including horse management, showing, learning conformation and horse health.

Andrew still wears his first pair of Neddys breeches, now going on for their fifth year of outstanding style and performance. Look for Andrew on the "A" Circuit in his favorite breeches. Thank you Neddys!
